Black Travel Summit 2023, is our 2nd annual multi-day in-person and virtual summit celebrating Black culture and representation in travel. The annual theme is ‘Voyage in Color.’

We invite some of the best speakers to show you how to make your dreams come true. Our speakers share their ups and downs, as well as actions that have been tried and tested to get you started. The Black Travel Summit is 2 days of actionable content from experts in travel & tourism, hospitality, diversity, and other related industries. All of our talks and workshops are designed so that you walk away from this event with notes on putting diversity into action, starting a career in travel, collaborating effectively, traveling on a budget, and much more! The Black Travel Summit is not just about fun and networking, it’s about giving you tested strategies to make your dreams a reality.

What if I’m I a member?

As a BTS member you get access to the replays from each event (regardless of ticket type), and 10% discount on admission to our annual summit and 20% discount to other events open to the general public.

What is your refunds & cancellation policy?

Tickets refundable up to 7 days before the event takes place. This is due to us needing to confirm F&B orders for your breakfast and lunch a week before the event.

When and where is Black Travel Summit 2023 taking place?

Black Travel Summit 2023 will be taking place from October 20-22, 2023 at the Hyatt Centric Brickell in Miami, FL.

What will the summit include?

The summit will be inclusive of a welcome reception, speaker series, corporate and practitioner workshops, an expo/media marketplace, a gala, cultural tours & activities, a pool party and a yacht brunch!

Will tickets be available at the door?

Due to confirming your meals ahead of time, we are only accepting advance online registrations for most events.

The Expo Pass on Sunday is the only event open to the general public and may have tickets available at the door, on a first-come-first-served basis.

Will replays of the summit be available?

Yes! We will be providing our members and guests with virtual passes access to the recordings a week after the in-person summit.

How long will the sessions be?

Our keynote will be 45 minutes long, while each speaker session will be 30 minutes, and our workshops will be between 30 minutes and an hour.

Is there free parking at the hotel?

No, but there is parking on the streets and valet parking available at the hotel. Other options include rideshares, taxis, the Metro-rail, which takes 30 minutes from the airport, or the Metro-mover, which is free to take in the Downtown Miami area.

Will there be networking opportunities with brands and DMCs?

Yes! You’ll be able to make appointments and have meetings throughout the event.
